How it works
Friends of FBS is steered by a committee, who look to all parents for ideas and help with social and fundraising activities. Volunteers will be sought to take on responsibility for overseeing/organising specific events, with the committee providing co-ordination and support.
The committee reports into the school’s Governing body via the Community committee to ensure activities link with the school’s ethos and priorities and objectives are aligned with the school’s priorities. Our Treasurer aims to meet the Headmaster each term to distribute funds and get feedback.
How you can help - something for everyone
Volunteer now! Volunteers are needed for the various roles on the committee. And in view of the fundraising possibilities for the new site, volunteers are also sought for a specific, subsidiary, site appeals committee – if you’ve skills and time to contribute to marketing, fundraising or event planning please let us know. Please email the school’s Chairman of Governors, Alex Wade on alex@fulhamboysschool.org.uk if you’ve any queries about this.
