WHO WE ARE
Who we are
All parents are automatically members of the Friends of FBS. We meet once a term on a Thursday evening from 7.30-8.30pm.
Parents/Carers are welcome to attend any meetings throughout the year, whether or not they have ever been to one before. We fully understand that it is difficult for some people to get to meetings but please don’t feel that you are therefore excluded from joining in with PTA activities or simply from making suggestions. We are always delighted to see you or hear from you and we welcome your ideas.
There are many opportunities to get involved during the year, and parents usually select which activities they are interested in and have time to help with. The PTA committee comprises two co-chairs, two co-secretaries, a treasurer, one extra member and two teachers who represent the school. There is a regular support team for coordinating publicity, catering and help at events.
